For some odd reason it doesn't work when I'm in reverse. It's fully on, yet the car still creeps backs, at about half the speed it should. Drive and neutral are fine. Dunno about park though :p

Any ideas?

It can hit the top of its travel pretty fast, the cable may have stretched a little as well, so as Shane said, it will just need a little adjusting.

My handbrake was like that as well, even after adjusting it.Found the problem yesterday, the right hand rear caliper adjuster was seized.when that happens the cable can not pull the brake on,but easy to fix by stripping down the caliper, cleaning and reasembling if all parts are ok.

Thanks for the heads up Torpa

I would have just gone for the adjustment, but it gives others something to look for!

for some reason due to their design, they dont seem to holdas well in the reverse direction as in the foreward direction - commodores have the same problem, it drives me mad trying to get them to hold hard enough to keep the customers happy!
