I can relate to this, my birthday is on December 16th, so the amount of times I've recieved a Xmas/birthday present is well past what I can count to. But I did learn to use it to my advantage. At the start of december I would find something REALLY expensive that I wanted then ask for it as a combined Xmas and Birthday gift. They could never refuse!RPO83 said:I got nothing even worth mentioning Steve - I'd just be wasting bw.
This is the last official time I will celebrate my birthday on this day!
Apparently giving one xmas present and writing "happy birthday" at the end of the card is sufficient enough according to relatives and close family friends so I thought it would be nice to return the favour.
This year I gave my xmas presents to them and at the end of the card I wrote 'Merry Christmas and a Happy Birhday'.
If they want to be cheap and combine the two then so can I!
