Darryl Hazel, 53, has been named Ford Motor Company's vice president of
customer service, effective Jan. 1, 2002. Hazel has been acting as the
division's executive director, and has been a marketing exec within Ford,
Lincoln Mercury and North American Automotive operations since he joined
Ford in 1972. Hazel takes on the unenviable task of responsibility for
customer service and parts sales in North America, and global logistics.
