So I just got those truck a little bit ago. Went to Costco and got rear ended in the lot. Since I want to change the assemblys anyway it wasn't a big deal. I KNOW NOTHING about electrical on cars. I'm wondering if I buy LEDs all the way around, do I need to put in a resistor? Or is it just plug and play? Reason for the chang is I want a dark look to match the tint.

I think they're just plug and play without any resistors. Try one at a time and see if there's a problem. If not replace the rest with LED
See if this helps you

I don’t know if it’s the same. I would think they are. I had installed LED’s all around my 2017 Expedition. The truck activated the hyper flash thinking with the lower voltage that a light must be out. I used Forscan to disable the hyper flash. All is normal now.

Only turn signals need the resistor.
