Have. Bf futura wagon. Original motor. Recently overheated. First time. Ever. Got car home water in sump Strange. Things. After topping up. Not overheating. No water in exhaust not misfiring or backfiring. No oil in header. Tank. Have 2 trans coolers on car. Looking at another motor. Has 307. Thou on clock. Any thoughts. No one can. Explain why

They s is what I got back. From a company. I think I will joust replace. Whole Motor. Never heard of them (Liquid. 245 ). Reply as follows. description you give, your vehicles symptoms sound like there may be a very small breach in the head gasket, breaching from one of the combustion chambers into the water jacket. This type of damage is very common and is easily fixed in most cases. I would certainly recommend have a look at our Liquid Intelligence 245 Blown Head Gasket Solution.

Sounds to me like a blown head gasket as well, as long as there's no internal damage, it's cheaper to fix than replace.

It’s done a lot of l klms 16 yrs old. Can get another motor which has only done 144 thousand. Supplied and. Fitted. Motor has now siezed. Last night. As I take in on and out of carport As I repair white goods. Just not enough room. To bring goods in and out. It starting b rattling pug of smoke and that was it Bearing big ends Rings wpuld now be a issue for sure.

The seizing has just flipped the coin. Go with a motor change.

Yep. Getting done tues. supplied and fitted a grand. Friend works there. He. has been looking after my car etc since I I got plus spare parts. Know him 30 yrs plus. he is only one allowed to touch car or repair

Motor replacement. 144 thousand on clock
