I currently have a 1979 Ford ltd 2 brougham. I replaced the headlight switch on the floor but the headlights still flicker on and off on their own. What could the problem be?

If they are flickering at the same time, there may be a plug where the common power splits to the headlights, start there looking for lose connections, also check the grounds. If that's solid, you'll have to work your way back, it could be the headlight switch on the dash. If you're not sure, or you can tell that it's not at the same time, it'll probably be the connectors to the headlights.
