Hi im a first time poster long time reader....

My Ef fairmont is giving me grief it takes ages to start in the morning or when it cools down also when driving it if i jump on the brakes pretty hard the revs go down really really low to the point where sometimes it turns off and its really pissing me off... the alternator shit itself last week and that was fixed and pump has also been changed after shiting itself does anyone know what the problem could be it is regulary serviced.. but it just has this really annoying problem.....

Get the fuel pressure regulator on fuel rail checked out, they cause this problem, and a mate told me that if it is, and you can't get one or are out of town, take the reg off the fuel rail, place a 13mm socket over spigot(which a small rubber hose was on) and give a firm blow with hammer, this gives spring in the diaphram more tension, which means more fuel pressure. Replace asap.
