Hi,
I own and love my 1986 Bronco(5.0 EFI). I had no mechanical experience or knowledge before buying this truck, but between it, my wife's 1990 Ranger and my 1967 MGB, auto has become a great pastime! I'm a Realtor by trade, Marine(1988-1994), student at UNO(history). I bought my truck because I almost got stranded in my Nissan Sentra on a very rainey day -- I was in a part of town that floods bad -- the water was lapping over the hood, but it didn't kill. The next day I started looking for a Bronco! A year later I finally found one (Broncos for sale are scarce here) from a guy who was the original owner, who never took it offroad and pretty much babied it. I have had it 3 years now, and had the engine rebuilt at 167050 miles. Other than that, no problems. i really love my Bronco, have never regretted spending a cent or a second working on and enjoying it.
