·I've been a Ford guy as long as I can remember - runs in the family.
My first car was a '65 Galaxie 4-door, 289 auto, followed by a '66 Mustang auto.
The previous owner installed a 302 and replaced the original 4-speed with an automatic. Having no loyalty to the 302, I replaced it with the 351W from my brother's wrecked car. There was an interesting combination!
Next car was another '65 Galaxie, this time a convertible with a 352 auto.
First new Ford was an '88 Mustang LX 4-cylinder 5-speed with GT interior (only thing she would pass was a gas station). I racked up 249,6XX miles when I blew the engine on the New Jersey Turnpike. I replaced it with my current Ford (Mazda), a '95 Probe GT.
I live in Belmont, MA with my wife of 11+ years, two cats and two Labrador Retrievers. We race the Probe in the New England Region SCCA SoloII, myself in G Stock, the Wife in G Stock Ladies. I finance the efforts by working as a Restaurant Chef in a Cambridge Hotel.
