Appon Parking at a Shopping Center and noticed Red fluid gushing from the front of my car!. This turned out to be Tranny fluid :AAHHH: I originally thought it was Power Steering since the power steering system in the car is very well worn and was going to change that today. So i drove about 1 block and the car lost ALL drive. Im after thoughts on what i should do, i just had the C10 serviced.

Should I....

A) Repair the leak in one of the Trans Cooler Lines or
B) Pull the Stupid heap of a trans out and replace with a FMX.

The reason im thinking of replacing is that when it was serviced I was told 90% of the Seals in & On the transmission had gone hard and needed to be changed ($600 worth). So i got the ones changed that could be without the trans having to be removed. But its still got a Delay time in Drive.

I can get a FMX Auto Trans for $50. Minus a converter

Also I got the carby looked at Yesterday and was told that it had some problems with the Vacumn and when you turn the car off it runs on for a moment. The Carby Specialist informed me to leave the car in Drive when i want to turn it off. But I did this and looked what happened. Is this connected? any thoughts

Also Would my Trans me really screwed now since it was driven with next to no fluid? it towards the end Shunted and banged around lots.
