Hi I have a 1989 Granada 2.9 i cologne with 3 port exhaust and want to convert it to a carb has anyone done this conversion?
If so can you please advise me what is involved and parts I will require
ie: inlet manifold and type of carb.

As far as I know the inlet is the same as the other V-6's, therefore I'd try the older 2.8 Granada carb. version, if not the 38 DGAS and manifold from the Capri 3.0, don't forget you'll need the manual fuel pump as well.
