I am putting a 96 2.3L in a 92 Ranger. The new engine has a Crankcase position sensor with only 2 wires (grey and blue). The wiring harness in the 92 has a 4 wire sensor. Can I just use the two similar wires? What about the other 2; I think one is a +12 volt signal and the other is possibly a timing wire. Would I need to connect this to the camshaft sensor?
