Does anyone know if a 2v exhaust manifold is the same as a standard 250 head?

Will the extractors on my 250 1v fit on a 250 2V head?

:driver: A 250 2v head has a larger hole in the centre and a standard manifold won't fit over there is a gap top and bottom although the bolt pattern is the same you have to use the right gasket set Cheers

So will my standard 250 1v extractors fit my 2v head ok, with the right gasket?
Because i have got the special 2v gasket, and noticed ports 3 and 4 are a bit bigger.
If i do use my standard extractors with 2v gasket will the flow be sufficient enough?

I have an xy wagon and was lucky enough to score a 2v head for my 250. After some serious head work on it, I (briefly) ran the stock exhaust manifold until I installed some Genie extractors, which I had aluminium ceramic coated.

In answer to your question, yes, the exhaust patterns are identical, or at least, interchangeable.

Now here's my question.... anyone know who will make a blower kit for same?

Hey Jess,

Do you have any pics of your wagon?

I have heard that standard exhaust manifolds dont work with a 2v, they need extractors.

I think that "Paxton" have supercharger kits that will fit the 250, if thats what you want?

What work did you have done to your head, as i am in the middle of reconditioning my 2v head and it would be good to know what are some good mods to increase power?
