I have recently got my hands on a BF XR6 (didnt get the turbo cause on my Ps :p) lol. And after a close analysis i am happy with the premium sound system that came installed with it but i want to disconect the 8" sub that came with it and attach a 10 - 12" sub(s) and connect em up with a new amp. I am just curious to how i should go about doing this. And also what equipment i should buy todo this. I also do not want to change the speakers already in the car if i do not have to.
Thanks heaps for all who can help.

First of all, good job on scoring a sweet car for your P's!

Nextly, If you only want to swap the bass system over to something better (ie. anything's better than the factory setup!) I'd get a good quality line converter and run it through your rear speakers. what this does is converts the signal from your basic speaker cable to an RCA signal to enable you to hook up any amp of your choice. Any competent car audio store can do this up for you, or at least get you going in the right direction.
