the car seems to over rev when you change gears, have replaced automatic choke, for a maunal does the carbie have 1 or 2 sensors ( for fuel) change the car from auto to manual do we need to change carbie as well. car drives it self without puting foot on accelator, that is why i think it over revs when changing gears. can anyone help me. thanks :wank2:

no e series falcons ever came out with a "carbie".
EA's and EB1's came with 3.9 cfi but other than that they were all multi point fuel injection.

Also, the car *is* meant to drive by itself when in gear.

Could you specify what car you have?

I don't mean to be rude but the most obvious explanation I can think of is remove your foot from the accelerator when you apply the clutch.
