I'm Wayne and I just came to this forum. This looks like it's going to be a great place to hang, get to know people and exchange ideas with fellow Ford nuts like me. Thanks guys.

Hey Wayne, is your 67 Mustang a coupe, convertible, or a fastback ?

Hey Stacy, My car is a fastback. It's a 289 4 speed and I have installed a 9'' rear end and now I'm collecting parts to install a deluxe interior. It's undergoing a major restoration right now, as it hs been for a number of years now. When finished, it will be the original candyapple red with black interior. Also upcoming is 4 wheel power disc brakes to go with the stock heavy duty suspension.

That car is going to look good. Candyapple red is the color for the 64.5-68 Mustangs, it looks good on those model years. Are you changing the a-arms to tubebular arms ?

No, I don't think so. I'd rather put the money in aluminum heads and go fast goodies like that. I have new lower control arms and upper ball joints, spring saddles and shaft kits, all NOS. I'm curious about the total control rack and pinion conversion, but at $1200 or so. it's a little high budget for now.

I added a Motorsport rear disc brake kit to my 9" axle. It fits "new ford" axle
size housing flange and the price was $313.50 plus tax and shipping. It needs
2.5" between the housing flange and axle flange. Check out M-2300-G. List
price is $395 Same parts as 95-00 Explorer rear brakes. Also fits 8.8 axle.
You need to supply parking brake cables, and jounce hoses.
