Tim Lutterbie. I live here in Nashville TN. 33, Male and I own a 93 Marquis and a 94 Chev Caprice. Previous Fords for me include a 88 Stang GT, and a few 1968 models (brothers cars actually).

Dean Chandler, I live in Cornelius, Oregon (26mi west of Portland) I am a Truck Driver For Gordon Trckng Inc. a pretty big familliar company on the West Coast. I have been to every US State except for Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Alaska, and Hawiaii. I may be able to relate to where you live, at least by the view from the freeway...I was a Cab Driver before and a Chevy Salesman before that. Before that I had a few odd jobs as a Security Guard, or a Janitor while I made futile attempts at becoming a Police Officer. Prior to that, I was in the US Navy as an AMS (Aviation Structural Mechanic)/Aircrewman on Lockeed EC-130G/Q - Boeing E-3A. VQ-4 Patuxent Rv.,MD Before that I was a kid.

I don't own any Fords, but with current offerings from the rest of the market, I am headed that way if ever in the position of buying a 'NEW' please note that I said 'NEW' vehicle. I like the:

CV/Gma Key better than the Chevy version (O there isn't one...)

Fulsize Trucks, I have to go with Ford in the looks dept. Chevy gets worse with each new model.

Fullsize SUV I have to go with Chevy

I would prefer a Camaro over a Mustang But then they are going to screw that deal too.

All others don't seem worth talking about.

I probably won't post much since I don't have any Fords, but my sister has a '91 Escort GT, my other sis has a '93? Probe, My Brothers GF has a '9? 4dr Escort. My wifes cousin has a '00 Focus, so if they break I guess I can ask here for help.

I used to have a '76 Granada 2dr Ghia 302 which was always reliable. Also I used to own a '71 Chevy Vega with a 2 litrew Pinto(yes)Pinto engine and 4 speed trans. but my Dad sold them while I was in the Navy. When I was a kid we had a '69 and then a '68 LTD wagon for a family car, but they were 98% parked/broken while my Dads Mopar and Chevy Cabs were going +400k. My Grandma had a '71 LTD 4dr with a 428or9 (i don't know Fords that well) it was just beutifull and she maintained it to perfection, but when she died my cousin got it, and ofcorse trashed it. I play the Chevy vs. Ford game just strictly for fun (not so fun anymore).

Hey Guys

Hey guys, my name is Fred Carlier and I have never owned anything but a Ford. I've always said if it doesn't have a Blue Oval on it, you won't see it in MY driveway.
I currently own a '69 Mustang GT that I drag race. It is the first car I ever bought. I also have a '00 F150 x-cab
4WD Off-Road with the 5.4 and towing package to get the Stang to the track. I also have a '91 Tempo for a work car.
I used to have an'85 EXP Turbo car that I let get away. If any of you know where to find one, PLEASE let me know, I want another one. I've had many other various Fords and have been happy with every one of them.
Hope to visit this site often, now that I've found it.
I'm in need of another '69 Mustang Fastback body to make a tube chassis car out of. Let me know of any leads.
Thanks,
Fred

Hi Everyone,

My name is Brian Winkler. I'm from Charlotte, NC. I do not presently have a Ford product, but probably see one in the future. I've owned at least one of the leading domestic manufacatured vehicles at one point in my time. Cars that I have owned:

1974 Volkswagen Superbeelte: Do not buy one of these unless you love fixing a car every week after something has gone wrong or broke. This car was taking more money out of the bank than I could keep to save so I had to let it go.

1969 Volkswagen Beelte: You think I would have learned my lesson the first time, but I was just a kid in High School and didn't know any better. I drove this car till my senior year in HS, got rid of the damn thing b/c of it's troubles too.

1989 Dodge Dynasty LE: This was my dad's car for a good while until he wanted a truck. So I took over the car to drive back and forth to college. Drove the car for a year to which point it had over 130k mile on it and the transmission started to give out. I sold it before I wasted a load of money to fix that.

1993 Ford Ranger XLT: I started to get in the truck craze and wanted a trunk pretty bad. I got what I asked for, but some reason it grew old on me rather quick. I guess it was the regular cab that made it feel tight in the truck, if I had gone with a extended cab I'd probably still have that truck right now. I never had one problem with that truck either, another reason I felt I should have kept it =(

1995 Chevrolet Caprice (Police Pkg): I currently own this car and still is my pride and joy =) I love the LT1 350 power and big size and safe car it is. i'm going to be keeping this beast for a long while.

I'm not biased to any vehicle product type, I like em all. They all have flaws of some sort, but you just learn to live with them and make the best of it. I keep an open mind, that marauder just looks more and more fine everytime I hear about it ;)

Take Care.

just a question on this edit. Does anyone know if this edit replaces the unichip,TSI module or any other type of chip we have fitted. I was told by a tech that the edit is to replace the after market chips we have fitted. It is not programable to the various differances of each car. It is non adjustable. Unlike the chips on the market at the moment, which are set for each car on the Dyno the edit is one programe for all cars. Is this true ? Has anyone asked the question.
Shane.
