i think the 93 is the best of the 2nd generation probes. Mine stock ran a 15:20 secs in the quarter and most 94 thru 97 run between 15.7 to 16.3 at least the ones ive seen. So im glad i bought a 93. I have K&N intake, high flow cat, and greddy exhaust. Im soon to be getting a head package done.

Sorry yo! 1995 all the way

  • Cooler tail lights (better than 93-94)
  • Passenger side airbag (93 doesn't have one)
  • Cooler SE rims (better than 93-94 SE rims)
  • No air conditioning conversion need (93-94 does)
  • Chameleon Blue exterior (only available in 1995)
  • Bolt on aftermarket exhaust (96-97 cant)
  • No OB III sensor (96-97 has this)

They all look good to me, I have no preferance.

You are right the 93 IS faster. I didnt like the interior with that ugly red line going across the dash from door to door though, that drove me crazy...
Steve had a couple of good points as well (Ill pretend I didnt see the words "chameleon blue" now :rolleyes: lol :D). The taillight change I didnt like at first, in fact thats why I was looking for a 93-94PGT. But now meanwhile I changed my mind, the new tallights do look good maybe better than the old ones. But all 2nd gen PGTs look good to me...

93's were the fastest years but i swear out of all the probes i've driven(never any 1st gens though) the 94 pgt was the quickest to me. don't know what it was . even my 95 pgt seemed faster then my current GTS. go figure.
