I am the owner of a 1996 Ford Taurus GL, Vulcan engine. I keep having to add antifreeze/coolant every few weeks. Can anyone give me an idea of the problem and what I need to do about it? Thanks.

check hoses for leaks , check radiator for leaks , check oil for discolouration and pray it's not head gaskets .

sounds like a small crack in your cooling tower. very very common. you may get a few drops of liquid after you shut the car off. after y0ou shut down look under car for five minutes. and youll see four drops come down typical

The radiators are made with aluminnum core and plastic tanks, after 10 years of heating up and cooling down they will grow weak at where they are hook togather and leak, that is what my 93 did this, so I replaced the radiator and all was good agin.
