How would manifolds like this compare to the standard ford/tickford items ?
probably better since you have one throttle butterfly per cylinder. However, you have no mass flow sensing and no air cleaning amongst other issues.

Good for high rpm only Snaggs,

You need runner length and a common plenum for the best torque production. Hence factory style intakes are better.

Some of the aftermarket intakes are available with shorter runners to enhance the top end at the expense of the bottom end. But not as much as the weber style setups that you showed.
Eg: TFS-R,Edelbrock RPM and Victor.
