I have a 2005 Ford Excursion. My wipers will not work on any setting except the last, fast one. I replaced the wiper control module, but that did not fix the issue. I was hoping someone on these forums could tell me what I should check next? What is weird is that occasionally, the intermittent setting will work, but it is very rare for that to happen. I was curious if the wiper motor needs to be changed or if there is some other area I should be checking?

Sounds like it might be the relay. It will be in the battery junction box.

Any parts store should have it, you really should identify and test it, it'll save you money by confirming if a part has failed.

I have looked up ways to test it, but I was wondering if there are parts stores that can test them as well?

Pretty simple, pull it and test the common to the normally closed terminals with a meter. Then energize it and check continuity between the common and normally open terminals.
