No that is only the Cleveland.Ken Oath said:Please correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the only difference between the 302 and the 351 the crank, with the strokes being different. 4'' to 4.5''?
Or is this only on the Cleveland?
If bored out to 30thou or whatever, then does the full kit come with the rings too?XT500 said:Typically a "347" stroker has been bored out .030 or .060 (I can't remember which). The job is usually done aftermarket where the engine has already done lots of kms. But since the T3 5.0 block was brand new, it didn't need boring out. It still has the same stroke as the legendary 347 though. I think this is why Ford didn't use the term 347, because technically it's not 347 ci. So they went with "5.6L".
But everyone refers to the job as a 347 stroker, as long as it has the 3.4 inch crank.
This is also one of the most popular mods in the US to do with a 302w.
