Yesterday, I dropped into Sinclair Ford early before work to have my new key/remote coded to the car. The service rep. had phoned Ford ahead to get the key number so it could be cut before I had arrived, though there must have been a mix-up as the key wasn't the right cut. Rather than leave me waiting hours to get a new key cut, then recoded, etc they let me take home one of their cars while they looked after mine so I could get to work.

This morning I picked up the XR, with a new key/remote. They had also remedied the sticky power windows. The service rep. also noticed one of the power window switches was dodgy, and replaced that too. The car was nicely cleaned up, and things are sweet! :D

Thumbs up to FoMoCo and Sinclair Ford!

Now quickly go over to LS1.com and tell 'em all about it. Be prepared for tears though!

Venom S,

good to see that your sorted and with good ol customer service to boot, well done buddy.

Also good to see the western suburbs battler sinclair ford doing the good deed, bought my EF wagon from there as well.

Pete,
Whats the deal at LS1, is there a few disgruntled Holden owners???

That's great that you got your second set of keys, even more so when they went out of the way to get you another key done when it wasn't cut properly. Mind you you've proberbly got a sour taste in your mouth from the whole drama of having to fight for it.
I know I did when I went to pick up my Ghia only to find that they ripped out the fitted floor mats, and took the rubber boot liner out of the boot. When questioned the response was that the mats were worn...yeh right, and that the boot liner wasn't even supposed to be in the car.(It was the bosses own one...ha) If I didn't sit there refusing to go anywhere, starting to make a bit of noise they wouldn't have got the stuff for me..
I'm not overly big but I can be bloody loud! :cussing:
