There is a leak in the gasket right above the oil pressure switch. It is a Ford Falcon EA 1990. Any recommendations please.

Well if you really believe it is not worth repacing the gasket, get some black silicon gasket and seal the hole :0)

The best advice I can give: replace the gasket, but don't go patching things up with any kind of gunk because it's usually only a temperary measure (and a poor maintenance habit as well).

i used black silocon gasket on my timing chain cover , but its temporary till i get a new crank. its not the best stuff to use but its not as bad as i thought it would be, just make sure if u use it that its spread evenly. i also think a gasket would be the best way to go though.

I once went to look at an EB S pack, popped the bonnet to check it out, gasket goo around the base of the head. Promptly closed the bonnet and walked off the lot.
