My son was driving my 2005 Navigator during the heavy rain Wednesday from the remnants of hurricane Ida. He says it slowed to a craw going up a hill even floored it wouldn't go over 1500 rpm (limp mode). He shut it down and went to restart and no crank, no start. I did have an OBD II in the car and he read to me these codes P0101, U0101, P0010, P0020, P0102, P0135, P0155, P0443, P0446, P2106. Of course a good samaritan stopped to help and disconnected the battery wiping out all the codes. I checked the starter relay and its good. I tried to start the car with a remote starter switch and the starter spun but did not engage the flywheel. I replaced the starter and no change. I'm starting to thaink its the ECU.
Any thoughts or help would be great.

Check for water intrusion everywhere. Pull the crank position sensor and let the connector dry out. And make sure all the fuses are good.

Did you ever get the starter to engage? If the engine will not spin over, nothing else matters. If the starter spins but doesn't engage, it can only be the Bendix isn't sending the gear out or the flywheel is missing teeth. Have you tried engaging the starter while out of the vehicle? I use jumper cables to check it and see if the bendix is working.

I did check the starter with a remote starter switch. The bendix was not working. I removed it and tested again outside the car and the bendix did work but the motor did not turn. I replaced the starter and fuse, the fuse blew immediately when the ignition was engage, I need to go through the wiring harness now. But don't have any wiring diagrams.

Yes it did. The fuse blows immediately when I use the ignition.
I realize you said 2005, my book is for my 2003. Unfortunately due to different engines, I would imagine there are some differences in wiring. The fuse box is completely different. To add to the issue, I know I saw it a couple of months ago, but can't seem to locate it tonight. I wonder if you could have pinched a wire taking the starter in and out? I would look for the areas you've been working in.
Found in an F-150 forum some information on Fuse32, seems to be the same control circuit. They stated that one of the sensors is probably shorted. However, then I found something much more likely since you mention water and all. The AC clutch, these do sometimes burn up and short out.

Sensor list:

Vapor Management Valve (VMV), A/C
clutch relay, Canister vent, Heated
Exhaust Gas Oxygen (HEGO) sensors
#11 and #21, CMCV, Mass Air Flow
(MAF) sensor, VCT, Heated Positive
Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve
(4.2L engine), CID sensor (4.2L
engine)

You might want to check the AC clutch and it's relay. Pull this relay (disables the AC clutch; no air conditioning) and see if that fuse no longer blows. It's possible the AC clutch is frozen, causing it's clutch to draw too many amps. It's relay #202, located in the engine compartment, left fender (drivers side). It's the leftmost relay. Check your owners manual for a pic of it's location.

I will try that today, thank you.
I did order the shop manuals and wiring diagrams last night.

I forgot to mention, how they found the issue was to disconnect each of the items connected to the fuse. Then plug them back in one at a time until the fuse blows, last item is the issue.
