I couldn't find one easy with both units on it so I whipped this on up (it was nicely justified but it may look ugly after posting).

In particular note the 16 Valve 4.6 is very close to our 4.0 inline 6 in power and torque.

Also look at the 16 valve 5.4, obviously to get it to 5.4sc power levels, a 24 valve head and other work will be needed.

And the 6.8, I still think they should squeeze it into a LTD and call it the LTD unlimited, say with a build number of 50 world wide? 578Nm at a mere 3250, and with a compression of 9:1.

The 4.6 16v spec you listed is for the F150 and LTD. The Mustang GT 4.6 16v is 260hp

You forgot the 3.9 V8 from the Thunderbird and Linclon LS

Your also forgettting the 5.4L DOHC thats in the Lincoln Navigator/Blackwood and a modified version was in the Cobra R.

Theres also a 275Hp version of the 4.6L DOHC in the Continental.

too right Martin, with little mods the 5.4L DOHC Cobra R engine has 290kw and 520nm. would sit beautifually under a T-series bonet :D

Thats the quoted power figure, but it really has quite a bit more than that ;) Closer to 320Kw and 600Nm:cool::cool:

Damm that engine sounds great, i might invest in that and whack it under the XR bonet, and with the blower its should be 400kw!!!!

Drive train problems - nup- I'll get under there with a welder and make sure nothen moves!!!!

I think the V10 is the go - fits easier than the 8. And look at the torque! Put a set of headers and exhaust on and watch the kWs flow.... :evil:
