Recently i had my head gasket done, and got the car back and car was running great, had a oil leak due to rocker cover gasket but got that fixed up, a few days later i got my car serviced and they said that one of the leads was damaged (fixed temporarily), i assume the damaged lead is simply the clip has come out of the socket.
Since i got the car back, it feels like it is lacking power quite noticibly, would it simply be the lead that is damaged? or should i look for something else being wrong.

Worth checking over the leads again IMO and see if you can find the damage. This is likely the problem, how old are your leads? i.e. would they need replacing anyway by now?

the leads were changed with the head gasket, so only weeks old :/
i know one of the clips came out at one stage, but i'm not sure if this was the damage they speak of.
