The mirrors dont fit. I did some heavy-duty cutting already, still needs more work... Maybe Ill have the body shop do the rest of the work with the paintjob in a couple of weeks...

they fit but they don't line up well withthe door sill....

yes if you want to make them flush they will need alot of work ...

me I like them but sense alot of probe's have them now I don't want them....

They dont fit for nothing. I put the old mirrors back for now, before I do any serious damage to the M3 mirrors or the door, Ill have the body shop play with them...

Ive only seen Mikals, Kryssys, and Mike Baxters probe with these mirrors so I dont know what your talking about DJ...

i've seen krysy's and one other car.

my verdict: not impressed. at least not enough to go and buy a set. for my $$, i would like a set of 95 side mirrors, rather than my set of 93's.

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!! My M3 mirrors are ON! I went ahead and did it myself... it took me two days and about 15 hours to make them fit... Yeah, I was EXTREMELY pissed, these were supposed to be made to fit Probes. I dont know why, but I could have just picked up any mirror and it would have been probably easier...

I ended up making a custom bracket... I had to cut the base almost all the way down, than I cut a metal plate that I turned into a bracket because the bolts were all about 1.5-2" off... Whoever made them should install one as a punishment.

IT just made me think about how easy it is for civic owners to hook up their cars... They just buy the mirrors and bolt them on, while I buy the mirrors, spend weeks thinking about how to make them fit, and than it ends up taking 2 days and about 15 hours of actual work to do it... Im seriously thinking about getting a 92-95 civic hatchback for daily driver instead of another PGT... Ok, maybe you can tell, Im just really pissed right about now, but Im done venting...

P.S.: If you dont want M3 mirrors like REAL bad, do yourself a favor and dont buy these... Just in case you still need to be warned after reading this post...

There's satisfaction after it all comes together and you know just how hard you thought & worked to make it happen.

I guess your right, but its just so frustrating that civics get all the attention... They have everything, man its ridiculous, all the parts you need... You know how easy it is to hook up a civic?!? And than your trying to work on your Probe, and you really wanna make it special so you buy a sinsei kit, cuz it just came out and its brand new, and your thinkign finally we have something else besides crapabunis ugly shogun and the boring fx designs... 11 months after you send $1200 you still find yourself waiting around for your kit...
You buy Tokico Illuminas from a bulk buy on PT, the guy disappears with your and 12 other guys money...
You work 3 weeks on ripping out your interior wetsand, prime, paint and clearcoat everything just cuz they dont make a dash kit for Probes...
You try to install a set of mirrors and it takes you 2 months and than 15 hours of work...
Gotta be an easier way...

See if I had a freaking civic,Id go to my friends performance shop, hand him my credit card and an hour later Id walk out with everything I need... Kinda like in The fast and the furious, when they went shopping for the Supra... No waiting around 11 months watching your car sit in your driveway unregistered... Man, theres gotta be an easier way...

But than I realized if I had a civic, I could buy all the parts, I could install the best looking kit, M3 mirrors, the nicest rims, the most expensive paintjob and whatever money could buy it would still look like [email protected]! And thats the bottom line... Ive always hated civics with a passion, and I always will!

And heck it took me 15 hours but my M3 mirrors look bada$$!!!! Why? Cuz they are ON A PGT!!!!

P.S.: And my car looked better stock than your show-winning Honda ever will!!!! So back off rice boy, cuz my ride is special!

Absolutely! In the end the work is worth it. Why do the Civic drivers bag on the PGT? Because they know deep down no matter how much money they dump into it, it's still an overpriced econobox & the Probe is a real sports car!

Yeah, I guess Im just not having any luck with the Probe lately... I parked it about 40 blocks from my house today and when I get back it wouldnt start. I got REAL pissed, I was so heated after all the$hit I went through this week, I was immediatelly thinking about trading it in for a new Eclipse GT, a Montero or something... So I call a friend of mine who has a 97' Camaro Z28, he comes and picks me up, and after endless Found On Road Dead (=Ford) jokes, I get home...
I get in my Maxima armed with a whole bull**** load of tools, jumper cables, a spare starter, and I go back cuz I didnt wanna leave the car there overnight, its a bad neighborhood... So I get backand my friend goes oh by the way did you check the killswitch... Im like ****! The car started right away. When someone touches the car and the alarm beeps or goes off the fuel cutoff turns on... Boy did I feel stupid...
Anyways, thanx for your response claudermilk! Probes RULE no matter what, Z28s and a lot of cars may be faster, but Probes are unique (if done right).

P.S.: I got burned by my friends AMG tonight, he smoked me bad... Oh well, he has a lot more ponies under the hood... And a lot more $$$ been handed over for his car, I knew he would win, we were just having fun...

Not all are faster... I could tell you about a few that I smoked. And a few BMW's that I've actually told the owners when they caught up that they paid to much for their cars and not enough for horsepower!

Well you know what I meant. Im not saying Probes are slow, its just that if speed and power was my number one concern I would have bought a newer model Mustang, a Z28 or a Corvette. But I like my PGT a lot better than any of those cars - for other reasons...
