Well, she did it again! My better half (exclude driving from that phrase) has managed to put brand new, two week old BA XR 17" rims down the edge of the gutter... ripped the sh*t out of the edge.

First thing to do is buy a piece or crap second car for her/our daily commute. I'm afraid enough is enough - so far score is 1 write-off, 2 major prangs, 'bout 6 minor prangs and 10 feet of 'de-rimming' (eventually you just keeping going over the same damage).

Second thing is to find a good wheel repairer in Brisbane... any recommendations?

Roughly how much would this cost?

Ford want $566 per rim plus fitting and balancing.

ooooOOOOPPS!
At least you can still buy them.
Ask some tyre retailers, they may have a clue.
Think there is a place in Albion that do repairs, will check for ya.

lol . . . dude, if those accidents are all at fault, I'd be confiscating the BA's keys ;)

I'd look into repairs first (especially if she will be driving still), if the new rim went the same way, you might do something regrettable :)
