Is there anyone out there that has swapped an auto gearbox for a manual or do you know anything about it. Do I have to change computer or anything like that. Does anyone know where I can get it done in Sydney.

i want to know too!!! i would love to get a manual gearbox for my car because this particular model never came as a manual. i reckon it would cost ya an arm and a leg though!

Yes you would need a ecu. Just call your local wreckers.

PS: I have a EL series1 XR8 manual ECU. They are about (i think) $400. new.. I would be willing to sell it at $320.
