Do any of you happen to know the max lift for a 1970 closed chamber Iron head to prevent coil binding?
I know this depends on the spring, but I'd like a general figure to work off of without having to machine the head or use longer valves.

Usually with standard type springs you wont get much over 500 tho , the standard spring material is thicker than performance ones .
