Ok, we need to stir this up some. I am going to post in here something everyday until some more people get on board! Todays topic, 67 coupe people, do you feel like you are the red headed step child of the group? Has anyone ever found a model, matchbox car, slotcar, or anything that is 67 coupe? I see 64 1/2 coupe, 66 coupe, 68 coupe, 67 fastback, and once in a great while 67 convertable. NOTHING FOR US COUPE PEOPLE! Shoot I can find a room full of fastbacks for my 70 in a week........:fmad: Am I the only one who has noticed this???

Actually I am fairly new to it, but when I saw they needed someone I volunteered! I was very impressed with how the webmaster set it up and figured I could add some of my own knowledge to what looks to be a really good board once we get our membership up!

67 Coupe

Hi,

My name is Jim and I am new to the forum. I am currently restoring a 1962 F250, a 1962 E10 pickup and now a 67 Mustang coupe which arrived last weekend, courtesy of my Son. I will have the 200 and drive train ready to go this weekend. The body is another matter, It has a lot of thru and thru cancers. I probably need a replica to remind me what a 67 coupe should look like!

I got one!

I have owned (3) '67 Coupes in the past 8 years. My first car was a 64.5, My first '67 was a real beauty, Red/black factory V8 car with disc brakes, a/c, auto and 9 inch rear. My second was a not so pretty faded red V8 car with a mean ass engine that I got for a steal. My current '67 is an original 6 cyl car w a/c converted to V8. She still has factory air and auto. She started out as a spring time yellow bench seat car. Now she is a metal flake blue with bucket seats. She is getting a new engine and AOD trans. She is sweet little car with lots of personality. What do the rest of you guys have. I will post pics soon as i figure the damn camera out.

I have a '67!!!!!

Hey man, I ahve a '67 S-Code Coupe. It currently has a 351 Cleveland in it. But, one day when the funds are there, I plan to build a 390 FE for her.:gok: I agree with not being able to find anything about the 67. Every time I look, it's 66, and 68, but it seems the 67 Soupe just gets ignored sometimes.

Hey mfp, on a side note. Let me know if they need additional moderators. I would be happy to help out. Seems like a great site so far and I would love to see it grow.

Tim
