My 1966 Mustang Coupe

I currently own a 1966 Mustang Coupe, which my Grandpa gave me before he passed away. It has a 1969 302 in it because my mom blew up the 289. Here is a list of my Current mods.

p185 tires on front, p145 tires on back with new rims(not pictured), electric igntion, 4bbl edelbrock mech sec carb, edelbrock intake, long tube headers with 2.25" dual flowmaster exhaust, traction bars, electric fan, 3.80 gears in the rear with a mini spool, and 1966 Mustang GT powered front disc brakes. There are more little mods but nothing worth mentioning. The car currently goes about 14.5 on the 1/4 mile, and soon faster once I put my 218in/ex 110lobe cam.

mods

I like that little purple head icon dude. Anyways, yeah i've done some basic mods if you look at the first post it tells them :)

The color of the car actually used to be a blue type color -- my mom had it painted white before I started driving it. I think eventually i'm gonna get it painted blueish again.

Nice Looking Car... although...

Too many gidgits and gazmos for me, I like just like they came off the line. I really like the interior. It sounds like you are a little young? Would you be another one of the diehard youngsters chasing the mustang dream?

I don't know what your talking about -- I am only 21 and I love speed so i'm hopping it up. I would of kept it stock if I would of gotten it that way.. But it was already modified with a 302 engine so it lost some value. I'm keeping all the old parts so some day when i'm older I can make it stock again.

Good For you

Its good that your keeping those old parts. You never know what you can do with a beautiful stang. 289's are becomming rarer and rarer every day. I can understand since it didn't come stock. With mine though, I was originally think 351C. But, then I got my beautiful completely stock car, and I won't put anything but NOS parts in it. Everyone thinks I am crazy, but aren't we all? Keep the dream alive.
