Let me know what you think. Ive been told I should put in clear corners, and in due time I will

I finally cleaned my engine yesterday. I dont think its ever been cleaned and Ive had this car since last June. I think it came out well! Not done yet, but its much better now.

My nice clean car before it rained! Not bad for a 93 base eh?

Looks very clean. The paint looks surprisingly good for a 93 (and for a Ford oops I didnt just say that)... :)
I just installed fog lights on Sunday, so when I get those developed, Ill post them!
My engine hasnt been cleaned ever, i believe. its a 93, so since 93. Scamper helped me clean the engine, so now I can clean it more often. Trust me, before we started, you could only see dirt!

So how did you clean it? The entire car looks like it just came out of the factory. :)
Thanks. Scamper used some engine foam cleaner he sprayed all over the engine. Let it sit 5-10 minutes, then rinse off. We also took a scrub brush to most of it. Sprayed it after with some tire dressing and VIOLA!!!
A couple more pixs of my baby. These were taken on overcast days, so the paint dosent shine as well as it normally does.

Cool, good job! You ever thought about getting GT ground FXs?
I like how it looks stock. The mods Im into are subtle ones...I like how it looks right now. Bigger rims will come soon!
Stripes? No thanks. I like how it looks stock.

Was that Engine Brite? What do you do to rinse it?

Agreed! Dont let him mess up your car (he wanted to put gold rims on a red PGT) ! :) j/k
Im not sure which product Scamper used. Ask him if you want. To rinse it, we used the garden hose and viola! Does my engine and car really look almost brand new??

Yes...

So did you have to cover anything before you put the cleaner on? Stuff like hoses and stuff?
No, you spray everything right on the entire engine...the only thing is if you get the alternator wet, just let it dry. Its all engine safe!
hmmm it can't be what i was thinking it was "engine brite" because you cant have it on hoses etc. I am going home this weekend so hopefully Scamper comes on here and tells us what it is..
I bought a set of spray engine cleaner from Pep Boys. It's called CD-2 Engine Detailing Kit, comes with two spray cans. One cleans the other shines. Nylie is correct about the alternator, you have to cover it and your spark plug wells to.
