Overall, this was a 5 year Project.
Bought a Body in white in Feb of 2005.
A Body in white is a brand new body with no suspension,
no wiring, nothing.
Just a body.
I used it to develop a kit to install a 5.4 32V engine with factory parts.
I used the Australian Boss intake manifold.
Al Papitto built the engine. ( www.boss330racing.com )
The car has every factory option available.
ABS, TC, AC, power everything (including the throttle),
remote fobs, Mach 460 stereo w/6 CD changer, etc.
2004 Cobra interior. 2004 Cobra new takeout IRS, 2000 "R" ft. brakes
99% 2004 Mach 1 wiring was used, and a 2004 Cobra decklid harness.
Mach 1 PCM.

Runup on the dyno

Running for numbers

Here's the sheet
Motor is 11:1 CR, Boss330 spec cams, all forged bottom end,
Boss 330 ported 03 Cobra heads, Modded LT's.
Not too bad for HCI 330 CID NA
404/387 to the wheels (IRS w/3.55 gears)
One run was 402/398

Now has STEEDA CAI, Pro-M MAF, and single oval blade TB
(was dyno'd that way)

Sorry, I just like the way it sounds with the lumpy cams

Recent local car show at Ford dealership
The car looks a lot more RED in person.
Torch red paint over bright white primer.
In the sun, it really "pops"

Should be legal hopefully soon.
Florida DMV has to inspect the car, and assign a VIN,
as being a BIW, it currently has none.
Then, time for some cruising!
That's its current state.

That's a great looking car and I'm sure it must have great g-force on acceleration. Very very nice job. Thanks for posting. :hy::hy::hy:

Thanks.
The only way I can describe the acceleration,
is it pulls like a freight train, and never lets go.
From tip in to 7000 redline, it keeps on pulling.
I love torque.
Huge thanks to Al Papitto for his expertise.
The man is a genius with modular engines,
and I simply cannot thank him enough.
A local buddy, AJ, did the paint work.
His Blue SN95 is next to mine in the car show pics.

I love acceleration torque too. I can handle that all day long. Give me 2 hard negative G stops and I'm sick for several hours.

MInor update, Grundy Insurance is not as car friendly as they claim.
Tried to say my mini van is unacceptable for my primary vehicle.
WTF?
In process with Hagerty, hopefully they are more reasonable,
and not so dictatorial.
At least now when I see a Grundy commercial,
I can laugh at the dishonesty.

Yep, it sounds like false advertising. Good luck. I've heard good things about Hagerty in the past.
