I'm pretty new to the world of car mechanics & modifications, but would like to invest a little bit of time and money into getting a little more power and performance out of my humble completely stock 2002 SOHC Ford Focus. This little workhorse is part animal and is begging to be let loose.

Does anybody have any ideas of how I can give my car the modifications it requires to let out its inner beast and give it the performance it deserves? While maintaining its integrity?

I'd really appreciate any input!

Get a better platform unless you want to swap.
They handle great, stock. Too bad you couldn't have gotten the dohc version.:/

yea i agree u need a better platform...there is alot more stuff out there for the ztec..well come to think of it ive never seen performance stuff for a sohc but anyways good luck!
