got to through a family member so got it for a bargin, 13k, insured for 17k. Unfortunately only a 6, 8 would of been much nicer but i good a pretty patchy driving history. now, it alls about cruising. and this car is a cruiser, not a racer

Get some clear side indicators and remove the dust covers on the wheels http://www.fordforums.com/showthread.php?p=438759#post438759

very nice indeed. Im interested in doing the painting of the calipers as im sure they will look terrible with a full polished set of 18"s in front of it. what sort of paint are we talking about exactly? i'd probably go same colours black front bit with silver calipers

Thanks! The paint used is mentioned in that thread. I purchased it from supercheap. Very cheap and impressive mod.

Thanks man (if you were referring to me), yeah my girlfriend gets a little jealous sometimes! Sorry josh.c, I posted to give you some ideas, I didn't mean to hijack your thread! :fraz: Have you already taken the pin-stripes off mate? I also decided to ditch the mudflaps, looks cleaner without them and doesn't scrape and scratch paintwork when the car is lowered.

thats cool, i hear ya bout the girl friend thing, she already complains cos i clean it every weekend, they just dont understandard. in re to the pin striping, i kinda like the look of it, especially when the wheels come but im planing on putting an an xr6 body kit, no wing, just the kit. dunno how that will effect the look. same applies for the mud flaps. all in good time though. got the price on wheels, $2700 for 18" chrome amg quakes with lock nuts and fitting. now to start the bidding wars!

yup, sure does, some import name, cant remeber the name of em exactly. just know that bobjane is the only one who sells amg (its their brand) so i gotta price match between a few stores and once they do down a bit, then say ok how much for cash?
