I just bought a 1991 Mercury Topaz for $150, and the wheel front passenger wheel is bent. I think the last owner hit a curb and messed it up. These cars are a dime a dozen in the junk yards. Can I just take the whole wheel/driveline assembly off one vehicle and put it on mine? It drives very good, engine sounds good, exhaust looks good. So I am going to fix it up. I think it needs new tie rods and such to make the wheel alignment right. I didnt even really look at the engine. Or do you think I should take it to a mechanic to get the job done right. I do not really want to spend alot of money on it. I just want to fix it up myself, spending money on parts only. Things like new rotors/pads, all fluids, starter, alternator, radiator, hoses. Are any of these hard to replace, I dont want to take a million things off just to get to starter or alternator.

Any help will be much appreciated.
