Pick this up this weekend. The original owner had it and was going to use it as a truck project that never happened. Coated in a generous layer of protective cosmoline. There is no rust anywhere on this virgin block. Anyways enjoy the pics.

Travis, had a customer bring an identical block XE192 for a build but when we sonic tested it we were disappointed with the results we had to pour hardblock in it, the bores were on the thin side.Hope you get it sonic tested before you bore it. Good luck

Sonic checked the cylinders. The later 1982 XE blocks were not quite as impressive as the 1st batch of XE blocks in the mid 70s. The number 7 cylinder had the thinnest area in the non thrust walls at .115/.114.

Here is the results. I will run the block at 4.000 bore from the 3.994 rough bore with 1/2 block fill.
