Many thanks to Rob (XLR8) who help me see how far we could pull a new XR apart on Saturday and Sunday fitting the new Stereo....

I don't want to downgrade Fords premium sound but its Chalk and Cheese when you compare them. And the Sub is yet to come...

Bring it on Rice Boys, Bring it on....

Nipper....

Cool - You only had the car 1 day before you ripped the stereo out!!!

I think that is a record. I had my car 3 days before I put the new stereo in.

Yeah I agree. I have had mine for 6 months now. Not expensive and finishes the boot of unlike the nothing that is there from factory.

Yeah they add a nice touch don't they.

The stereo, Well !!! where do I start?

Head Unit is Pioneer DEH - P8250 45w x 4
It has 3 sets of preouts @ 4 volts including Sub Out.
Full control over the Sub from the Head Unit

Matching Pioneer CD Stacker CDX - P650 six disc stacker.

Speakers.

Front: Boston Acoustic FS80's 5 x 7" Splits. (Tweeters in Premium sound A Pillar Trims).

Rear: Boston Acoustic CX 50's 5 x 7" 2way Coaxials.

Comming this week is a:
MTX Thunder6500D Mono Block Amplifier (D Class)

??? Kicker Solo - Baric 12" sub in Box.. (still auditioning subs).

Not quite Fords Premium sound......lol....

Nipper...
