My 93 Probe engine is making the ticking noise. I was told that it needs adjustment. I would like to know how to adjust them so the noises can be reduced. My engine is 4 cyls, 2.0 , 32 valves.

Uh... you have 16 extra valves stuffed in there, that may be your problem.

I heard its good to periodically add valves to your gas tank...two valves w/ every 5th fill up.

Seriously, try using Mobil 1 synthetic, and add an extra half-quart or so... that usually works from what i understand.
