I currently have fairly stiff aprings on the EF. I want to put something softer in but still have reasonable handling, so I want some progressive rate springs. Can anyone suggest a brand and what i could expect to pay fitted? Also, where in Sydney could I get them?

hey boston

i also have a EF Falcon.
im running Pedders Progressive Rate Springs.

They handle really well, and car isnt like a bouncing castle.. Very nice, but a little bumpy of course, but overall a good smooth ride.

Any local mechanic can do it, if you want i hate a mate @ a workshop @ blacktown (syd) if your interested.

Hi,

**** (V8 Wagon) works at Midas and gets very good prices for springs.

$90 a pair (King springs)

he can install for cheap too.

Pedders suck.

If you like the Kings stuff, visit Straight Talk Suspension in Blacktown and ask for Dobinsons springs. Look the same (blue/green instead of yellow) and cost the same, but have a better quenching process than Kings that reduce sagging.

I don't work for the guy, but he gives good advice and no bull, unlike Pedders.
