Hi,

None of the animations are working whether they are members avatars or smilies etc on posts. The only reason I know this was by accessing FF from another computer.

Any suggestions? I'm not too clued on with computers.

It will be because the site owner has turned off alot of features to free up space on the dying server.
Hopefully should be back in the next few days.

actually that is not the case. That would not be the reason why the animations are not working.

It could be due to one of several things.

1. temporary internet folder is full
2. bug in browser
3. getting cached information from ISP

There are others but those are the most likely causes. Animations would not have been turned off. If they were you would not have them at all.

I have found one more reason for this.
Depending on the browser you are using, you might have a setting
for animated image looping.

On Mozilla 1.4 for Sun Java Desktop.
Edit - Preferences - Privacy & Security - Images

"Animated images should loop"
o As many times as the image specifies
o Once
o Never

Check your browser for this type of setting, You might
have it set to Never.

I Dont Know Whats Going On But I Cant Get Anamation Either I Had It Before Maybe Its Run Away, Anyone Can Help Please Advise ...i Still Have It In My Signiture But If I Delete I Cant Get It Back….i can see everybody else's and mine but the box is gone where i used to get them from..

Yep its in the Advanced options of Internet Explorer and Internet Tools

Under the Multimedia Section entitled Play Animations

Take the tick out and they stop playing, put it back in and they start again

i have a tick in mine, i can see the 4 i have in my signiture and can see everybody's Animation.. but the addon box that i use to get to select the Animations is gone, checked all my options on the site setup, like said i had it once but its gone now...
