They also came with Black Striping on the bumpers/side strips, not red(???)

thanks for the reply guys....the red stripe was not my idea....when we got her hubby put it on...it was all white but the reds about to come off...as far as the lens are concerned im not really sure ......this is how we bought her about 12 mnts ago...but i know shes real cause under the bonnet tells us with the original donk & all

you guys all had me worried bout the lenses...so this morning i rushed out to have a look.....they are clear....when hubby took the pic he had hazards & high beam goin.....thank god for that the only other pics i have i put in the pub...but there not real big..i'll try to enlagren them & i'll post them here a bit later

ha,

thats funny about the hazard lights. on all my pics of my cars if i have the hazard lights on, they ALWAYS appear as on in the picture. Preety wierd when you consider that they are only on (flashing) 50% of the time:nuts: :nuts: :nuts: :nuts:

ahah botch .. yeah it is a bit wierd about the inticators. Ive seen many clear indicator lights before, and even when they are blinking, the whole of the plastic doesnt look as orange as that.

Damn wierd that !!

Guys, I'm sorry if you believe that my pic is doctored but i can assure you it isnt. i will endevour to get some more pics of the car in natural light without the indicators going and i will make sure the sprint/tickford badge is visable on the side.Obviously some people may try one on you sometimes but I'm not one of them.Is there any other options I have to prove to you what I have is real!!!!!

Thank you botch...I admit I did belive they were talking about me ..you tend to get defensive when you have a sprint because they all(anyone who doesnt know a sprint) tend to put you in a basket that says yours bulls***ing about what you have. I am really glad to hear that you want to help because I admit I didnt know what I was buying when I got her but now I know, I really want to know everything about them. I'd like to think I have an investment a bit like the HO's & to have people saying that shes not original makes me wonder if I have been sold a dud.. I'm really hoping thats not the case..she has the badges & from an old ford owning person the tamper proof seals in the engine bay with tickford sprint all over it means to me she is really original..that & the owners manual with everything matchin up tells me as much..well thanks you have made this gals heart glad again.

Not to put out any fires here but just ave a look at the compliance plate... An XR8 will have the code "T" under engine whilst a SPRINT will have a code "Z"
Settled???!!!!!!!
Either way who cares XR8 or SPRINT its still a nice look'n machine
