My 88 f150 with a 351w 5.8 4x4 has 2 fuel pumps, can I remove one of them. If so which one?

yes i imagine they did, however one of the tanks was removed the fuel pump was not. We purchased this truck from two young gentlemen. I do not know what their level of mechanic ability is..... (not much I'm guessing) One of them is and i believe it is the one that no longer has a tank. I am trying to fix this truck on my own as a gift. I have zero mechanic knowledge (thank god for Forums and YouTube). So sass mouthing is not real helpful.

Follow the intake lines, remove the one that goes no place. Make sure you properly plug the port.
