Can anyone tell me how many of the mystic purple t-birds were in 1995. As of right now ive only seen 4 including mine.

Its a rare color, i see them every now and then. i have never seen a production breakdown by color, but if i find one ill let ya know. it is a sweet color, there is a guy selling a 95 sc in that color on yahoo right now. i wish i had the $ to buy it since its a 5-speed and they only made 574 of them and probably not many in that color.

Mark VIII Mystic

I saw a Mark VIII with the genuine "mystic" stang paint here about three years ago. It wasnt the T-bird stuff. Was this factory, or did the guy work for BASF?

you can get the mystic paint i think it is through ppg, or one of them companies, its like 350/qt and to do a car you will need a few qts.

Need paint code

Can one of you guys get me the paint code? It's not in my dupont books, but Eric Lam and Matt Hayes of Dupont both say it is not special paint and I can have it if I get Eric a code. Im gonna do the 5.8 car with it, I got a hairy glass hood now! Not Mystic, but the muddy purple berry stuff. get me a code please (LH door decal) Thanks!

I got the paint

I got a gallon of this. (I need to do the jambs, inside of decklid etc.) This stuff looks sort of translucent so I hope I have enough. I'll use tinted sealer and save the engine compartment for last so I dont run out in the booth. If I need more to do the engine compartment, I'll order a pint and pull the engine while I wait. I want the engine compartment to look slick and not miss anything. The code was JC.
