any thought on getting a EDIT done on it??
CAPA's site has it listed as available, can't remeber the exact figures it ended up with though.v8capri said:it is a Fairmont Ghia so it is Auto
Has there been much progress with the edit on a 220kw 3V engine ?

that's rear wheel HP not KW?xr8edute said:Mine is a 2004 BA XR8 manual ute with 6000k on the clock
248rwhp. dunno is that is good or not. the ute is stock as a rock.
Had another ute on the dyno just after mine. Exactly the same model and age and k,s and it put out 263rwhp.
I think maybe dyno operrator full of Sh*t.

Jeez high 12's, you running the standard tyre's or running with slicks. Either way good luck.BA330ci said:Had unichip fitted, now at 240.6rwkw, looking for high 12s at next WSID track day
That would be with a drag radial not factory fitted tyre big difference. My mates BA GT ran a 13.4 @110 on factory fitted tyres big difference.Just goes to show how tyres pay the biggest role in 1/4 mile times.XRQTOR said:Jeez high 12's, you running the standard tyre's or running with slicks. There's a bloke running around with 26orwkw in a BA ute and his best is 13.2 with a 1.8 6oft.
