Ideally we would want to know how much money and time you are willing to throw at it short and long term.
As to a gearbox swap the T5 can handle a fair amount of abuse, especially if you dont use slicks and take it easy on 3rd gear. Besides the only fully developed T56 swap for an AU has been quoted around the $8k mark which is some major $$.
Stroking is the way Tickford have now gone so it seems to make sense.The appeal of supercharging was that I dont have to take the engine out and could probably install it myself.Dont trust anyone else to care for my paintjob etc.
What does stroking involve besides a new crank and what is the cost.Is a recognised supplier offering a kit and is it well proven.(balance wise etc)How advanced is our injection system to cope with additional; fuel demands of stroking or supercharging?
Sorry about all the questions but I dont know much about this engine.Last engine I modified was Turboing a 2.8 Supra 16 years ago although I have been involved in 4 cylinder bikes lately.
