Has anyone seen this before, I've got an EF 6cyl which stalls right after starting. It can be started right back up and will do the same thing. You can stop it doing it by trying to rev it whilst starting. All fault codes have now been fixed (needed new coolant sensor) but it's still doing it. Has anyone else had this problem??? What was the fix??

Jase,

Not to sure, but if the engine sounds healthly and startsup without any misfire etc, it could be the idle motor or something to do with it thats playing up. Idle motor does just that keeps the idle.

try disconnecting the baterry for 10 mins. Reconnect and go for a drive, using various speeds and gears. This will re-learn the ECU!

Yeah i was going to that tonight but didn't get around to it. I'll stop in the morning and do it. So far we've tried ECT, MAP and coil pack. If reset doesn't work i'll try ECU...
