I have a ford f-150 4x4. it starts fine but when you put it in drive it has no power. took it to a mechanic had it for 2 months and couldnt seems to find out the problem. everything he says checked out fine. the compression was with in reason. you can rev it up in nutural but when you put it in drive it wont rev up. the fuel filter has been replaced its getting fuel.

2 oxygen sensors but they where checked out by mechanic and turned out they where working fine. he did mention one cylinder was misfiring. but shouldnt be acting the way it was.

If the O2 sensors were working fine, that would mean that you may have a problem with your fuel to air ratio. Possible air leak. Do you know exactly what the O2 sensor code was, there's a couple of them.

I would be politely skeptical of a mechanic who keeps a truck for two months. Ask the mechanic how he determined that your O2 sensors were "working fine". Also, can you elaborate on the "no power" problem. Does the truck move but just not have the power you expect. What did the mechanic say about that?
